How I can help
I am licensed to provide individual and couples therapy for residents of Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. I also offer individual and relationship coaching services to American expatriates and their families living temporarily outside the United States.

American Expats
Many Americans overseas struggle to find culturally attuned therapists who understand the unique pressures of expat life—such as isolation, cultural adjustment, and distance from familiar support systems. My practice provides a safe, understanding space where expats can process these experiences, establish a support network, and feel more connected in a foreign land.

Military and Federal Employee Families
I understand the profound sense of duty that comes with serving one’s country, as well as the personal and familial challenges that can accompany that commitment. Frequent relocations, demanding responsibilities, and constant adaptation to new environments can take a real toll on emotional well-being and relationships. Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space to honor your experiences and sacrifices, strengthen resilience, and cultivate a greater sense of balance, connection, and fulfillment—wherever life and service may lead you.

Individual Therapy
My work with individuals centers on helping you make sense of your past and present experiences, navigate significant life transitions, and manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, and ADHD. Together, we’ll explore the patterns and emotions that shape your relationships—with yourself and others—so you can create greater clarity, balance, and self-understanding.
I also work with individuals impacted by substance use or addiction, as well as those seeking to re-evaluate their relationship with drugs or alcohol. For men working to manage anger or anyone struggling with anxious attachment, therapy offers a safe space to develop emotional awareness and healthier ways of connecting. When we desire growth and self-improvement, change is possible—and therapy can be the place where that change begins.

Marriage/Couples Counseling
A healthy relationship is much like a dance—one that requires awareness, coordination, and practice. Each partner brings their own rhythm, steps, and style, and when both move in tune with one another, the connection can feel effortless and joyful. But even in the best relationships, one misstep can throw the dance off balance, leading to disconnection, frustration, or pain.
In couples counseling, I help you observe the dance you and your partner are currently engaged in—the patterns of interaction, emotion, and communication that shape your relationship. Together, we’ll work to build greater attunement, curiosity, and compassion for each other, so you can rediscover your natural rhythm and move together in a more fluid, connected, and fulfilling way.

Pre-Marital Counseling
The 10-session Premarital Counseling Program is designed to help couples build a strong foundation for a lasting, fulfilling marriage. Through guided conversations, practical exercises, and personalized insights, you’ll deepen your understanding of each other and develop the tools needed to navigate life’s challenges together.
Each session focuses on key areas essential to a healthy relationship—such as communication, conflict resolution, emotional intimacy, shared values, finances, family expectations, and future goals. You’ll explore both strengths and growth areas, learning how to nurture love and respect that stand the test of time.
By the end of the program, couples leave with a deeper emotional connection, a shared vision for their marriage, and a personalized roadmap for lifelong commitment and joy.
