Individual Therapy

My work with individuals centers around making meaning of current and past lived experiences, navigating significant life transitions, managing depression and anxiety, and healing from loss and abandonment. I also work with those impacted by substance abuse/addiction or those wishing to re-evaluate their relationship with drugs and alcohol. When we desire self-improvement, change is always possible.

Couple/Marriage Therapy

Whether you are newly dating, planning to get married, or have been together for decades, I aim to provide a safe environment to delve into your most important questions, needs and desires. With my guidance you will unpack the underlying dynamics that keep you stuck in negative interaction cycles. Through diligent and honest efforts, couples can improve communication skills, dive into unspoken needs and desires, and learn to take accountability for their roles in recurring conflicts. We will explore problem solving through compromise, and engage in fair fighting tactics to protect the integrity of your relationship. Together, you can heal from past attachment injuries and establish a strong foundation upon which to build a happy, healthy and lasting partnership.

Children are an integral part of the family and of the life of a couple. Couples who are interested in solving problems and creating a safe space to discuss parenting decisions, but are not interested in reconciling the relationship or processing the history of the couple problems, can benefit from co-parenting coaching. These types of sessions focus on the wellbeing of the child, and encourage couple to prioritize the needs of the family outside the couples romantic interests/dynamic.

While my work primarily focuses on interpersonal issues between romantic couples, I also work with families with adult children on issues of family of origin, conflict resolution, and problem solving. All participants in family therapy are adults (ages 18+).
